#1
SPA Weekend Escape
Sometimes the best way to reconnect is to completely step away from everyday routines and allow yourselves to rest without distractions. Warm pools, saunas, calming treatments, and quiet relaxation spaces create the perfect environment to unwind both body and mind.
You can choose a peaceful retreat in nature or a modern wellness hotel in the city - a place you would enjoy the most. Decide whether you prefer walks in the city or on the beach. Let the days pass without rush: sleep in, enjoy long breakfasts, switch off your phones, and spend time talking, resting, and simply being present with each other.
The goal is not activity, but restoration - leaving refreshed, recharged, and more connected than before.

#2
Ceramics or Pottery Workshop
Create your own set of dishes to use in everyday life and enjoy for years to come—they will become a beautiful symbol of your shared memories.
There are many small pottery studios where beautiful and unique pieces are crafted with passion and care. Search Google Maps for “pottery studio” or “potter” and get in touch with a local artisan near you.

#3
Picnic with a View
Once, I surprised my mother on her birthday with a gift like this – I prepared delicious snacks, a bottle of champagne, folding chairs, and took her to watch the sunset from the birdwatching tower. Even 10 years later, she still remembers it as a wonderful surprise.
Find the nearest observation tower on a map, pack everything you need from the list below, and set off on your most beautiful date. Or, just as easily, organize your picnic by the sea, in a park, or in your own backyard—the most important things are the intention, spending time together, and the realization that a romantic date doesn’t require much at all.
WHAT TO BRING:
- A basket or bag to carry everything
- A blanket (if sitting on the ground) or folding chairs
- Snacks (for example, sushi and bite-sized desserts, or a healthier option such as sliced vegetables with hummus and fresh fruit)
- A drink—champagne or tea in a thermos
- Glasses or mugs for your drinks
#4
Water Adventure
What could be better than spending a hot day by the water?
From a relaxing swim and bouncing on inflatable water parks to a yacht trip or something more adventurous—such as wakeboarding in a quarry lake or behind a boat—the possibilities are endless.
Inspiration for water activities:
- Canoeing or kayaking
- A catamaran ride
- Inflatable water parks
- A floating sauna
- Wakeboarding
- Water skiing
- Jet skiing
Whether you choose a peaceful outing or an adrenaline-filled adventure, a day on the water is a great way to create memorable experiences together.
#5
Drink Masterclass
Discovering new flavors and learning something new is always exciting. Choose what feels closest to your heart:
- A beer tasting workshop.
- A coffee-making workshop.
- A homemade wine tasting experience at home.
- Or take it to the next level and go on a flavor-tasting trip abroad, exploring drinks and cuisine in a new country.
#6
Surprise Destination
It’s really that simple! Head to a train or bus station and buy a ticket for the first available route.
In the end station walk around without a fixed destination, stop for a meal, and explore a city you’ve never been to before.
Want an even bigger adventure? Go to the airport and buy the first available flight ticket!
#7
Cooking Workshop
Do your everyday meals sometimes feel uninspiring? This is a great opportunity to discover new flavors, learn something new, and spend exciting time together!
Some ideas for inspiration:
Pasta, Asian soups, pizza, ravioli, khinkali, khachapuri, perfect steak preparation, sushi
Meringues, macarons, cakes, éclairs

#8
Sleep Under the Stars
Sometimes the best experiences come from simply going without a fixed plan.
Pack the essentials for a comfortable night away—something warm to sleep in, a few snacks, drinks, and whatever makes you feel at ease—and set off with no strict destination in mind. It could be a quiet spot in nature, a simple cabin, or even just a place that feels right in the moment.
You can sleep in your car, stay in a tent, rent a last-minute house, look for a nearby campsite, or park somewhere legally allowed in nature. The possibilities are flexible—the point is freedom and spontaneity rather than planning everything in advance.
The idea is to slow down, disconnect from routine, and enjoy an unplanned night together under the open sky or in a peaceful setting. Some of the most memorable moments often come from the most spontaneous decisions.

#9
Snow Tubing
Sometimes the best kind of rest is simply letting go and returning to a childlike sense of joy and laughter. Tubing guarantees plenty of positive emotions, adrenaline, and a true winter adventure.
All you need is a snowy hill, a tube or sled, and the willingness to have fun. It can be a prepared slope or just a natural spot nearby where you can safely slide, laugh, and enjoy the winter weather together.
The goal is simple—step out of everyday seriousness, embrace the cold, and share those carefree moments that turn into lasting memories.
#10
Walk with Shelter Dogs
Maybe you’ve always wanted a dog, but your current lifestyle doesn’t allow it? Or perhaps you simply want to do something kind that brings joy both to you and to someone else?
A walk with shelter dogs is a wonderful way to combine time together with doing good.
Before visiting, it’s a good idea to contact a local animal shelter in advance. You can also ask what they currently need most—food, toys, or hygiene supplies—since small contributions can make a big difference.
Sharing your time with animals who are waiting for care and attention is a simple but meaningful way to create a positive impact.
#11
Golf Together
There’s a reason golf is such an engaging and popular sport—it’s versatile, relaxing, and suitable for almost everyone.
You can try classic golf, mini golf, football golf, disc golf, or even a golf simulator. Each version offers a slightly different experience, from lighthearted fun to more focused skill and precision.
The beauty of golf is that it can be enjoyed in many different settings and formats, making it easy to adapt to your mood—whether you want something casual and playful or a more traditional and calming activity.

#12
Coastal or Nature Hike
Spending time in nature can be just as exciting as traveling far away—you only need to find the right path.
Challenge yourselves to plan a longer date each year by choosing a scenic hiking route or walking trail. Long-distance routes such as coastal trails or historic pilgrimage paths (like Camino routes) exist in many countries and offer a meaningful way to slow down, reflect, and spend quality time together.
Apps like AllTrails can help you discover a wide variety of routes almost anywhere in the world, from short local walks to multi-day hikes.
A hike doesn’t have to be complicated—it can simply be a walk along the coast, through forests, or around lakes, where the focus is on being present, moving slowly, and enjoying nature together.
